My January sale purchases Hauling #2

A resolution of mine this year was to save some more of my money and I have definitely not kept to that... HOWEVER! This does mean that I have a few sale items (and maybe an expensive splurge that totally was not a sale item) to show you.

The first place I went into during the sales was top shop, I got some really cute sale stuff here, but none of it is really clothes. BUT I did treat myself in here just a few days ago and oh my I really do love what I bought.

So in the sale I bought some really cute PJs, yes I know they are Christmas themed, but they are super cute and I love them a lot, I mean they have Mickey and Minnie on them, what more could you possibly want? (Yes I am a big Disney enthusiast). These are really soft and comfortable and the blue edging on the top makes them all the cuter.
Now I am a BIG fan of the Topshop cartoon/Disney pants and I probably own about 10 pairs now (oops!). I already have the Disney villains pants, but these ones were Disney villains with a Christmas twist and they were in the sale, how could I possibly resist?
I'm not sure if you can see on here because the light isn't very good, but I also bought two pairs of socks. Some people may think that I'm really lame (and they're probably right) but I LOVE socks. I have so many that I can't quite close my sock draw, but I will still buy more because I'm a total sucker when it comes to cute socks and these were no exception.

The blue ones with the lace trim I had looked at when they weren't in the sale, but when I saw them in my local Topshop I had to have them. Just look how pretty they are!

Now for what I spent all my money on last weekend, a MOTO Cord Borg Western Jacket and oh my I love it...

I have been looking at this jacket ever since it came out into Topshop and it's just so beautiful. The inside is oh so soft and honestly it's pretty warm and snug. I think that I'm quite excited to wear it to college in September and I'm going on a trip o Oxford soon so there as well! It was rather on the pricy end of the scale and I already have so many jackets (which, I'm not going to lie, are not waterproof and pretty impractical), but I couldn't help it. I had fallen in love with it and there was absolutely no going back. Now I just hope it doesn't go in the sale!

Recently my local shopping area brought in a Jack Wills shop, now I have always been a bit weary of Jack Wills and their extraordinary prices, but before the sale I had seen a couple of very nice items in there, but at more than £80 each I was slightly less convinced. However, I did have a little look in the sale and you'll never guess it, yes that's right both items were in my size in the sale at less than half price each!

Both the skirt and shorts are velvet and very soft. The velvet shorts are absolutely stunning and make any outfit complete (I have worn them with jumpers, t-shirts and a whole range of other tops, they just seem to go with everything). You can easily dress them up with a lacy top or wear them casually with a jumper, the choice is yours. The skirt is more of an evening or special occasion wear, it is very pretty and nicely fitted around the waste. I don't like skirts that are too short and I like to be able to wear little cotton shorts underneath so that my legs don't get cold, this skirt is perfect to do that with and is a very comfortable length.

I also bought a HP laptop in the sale (it was actually my Christmas present that I had to pay a lot towards), it's red and very nice, but honestly I don't know much about laptops, I just wanted to mention it because it is on the photo of all my sale purchases.

And finally after all this shopping I finally went online to see if I had missed any bargains. Where I live there is sadly no urban outfitters and in recent times I have bought absolute steals from them in store (I'm talking tops for £5 and less!). I of course found plenty of items that  had fallen in love with and added to my basket. In the end I had to be really strict and kick anything out that I wasn't sure about. I then found out that postage and packaging was £3.99, I really hate paying P&P so I hit the online voucher codes and found one for free P&P which made me very happy, all I had to do was wait for my delivery (which is very exciting and I wrote a whole post on here if you want to check it out!).

I bought a black (not leather but good quality) backpack which is really lovely and has lots of storage pockets for lipstick, keys and other bare essentials. It has a really nice look to it and from £42 to £15, I really did feel like I had a bargain. I had actually looked at this one in a store before, but the full price was really a bit overpriced. My other bargain was a packet of three EOS balls for just £7! These are usually that each, but because they came together in a pretty box with stickers they were reduced. I kind of regret not buying a few more, they would be perfect for little Christmas presents for people!

Okay so that is all I bought this January and I really think that February (and the rest of the year) are going to have to be saving months. Let me know your January bargains and if you spent as much as I did.
